The Mayor of Lorca and the Minister of Public Works inaugurated the historic renovation of the Plaza of Spain (29/07/2010)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the Director of Public Works of the Autonomous Community, José Ballesta, find a sculpture of King Alfonso X the Wise, who remembers his relationship with the city.

These works are part of the Municipal Plan of historical recovery.

The 1.3 million that has cost the work have been funded by the Regional Government through an agreement signed in 2008.

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the Director of Public Works of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, José Ballesta, will open at 19:00 hours today the squares of Spain and the Caño de Lorca, once they completed the refurbishment in which the Regional Government has invested 1.325 million euros, thanks to an agreement signed between Jódar and Ballesta on November 19, 2008.

Responding to opposition groups
