Lorca receives state funding in 2009 and 2010 about 26 million euros for 108 projects that create more than 2,300 direct jobs
The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, with the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, inaugurated this afternoon the work of environmental recovery of the Rambla de Los Patos in Lorca, between Rambla de Tiata and The Mirror Divider.
The works have been carried out with funding from the Government of Spain through the Local Investment Fund in 2009 and have had a cost of 973,000 euros.
During the making of them, have created 120 jobs.
The works have included installation of new gates upstream of the Bacon's Bridge, next to a walkway for access to clean them, thus facilitating the retention of inert waste and removal.

EUR 25.6 million in two years Lorca
González Tovar explained that the city of Lorca has received state funding in 2009 and 2010 a total of 25,688,762 euros is earmarked to finance 102 projects of work and 6 programs for municipal spending on social policies.
These projects are expected to create a total of 2,362 direct jobs and also fund various maintenance projects of schools and Primary Education in the municipality, and two programs of aid to 2,600 people dependent on the municipality.
Finally, the delegate expressed his satisfaction with the high compliance of the commitments made by President Zapatero through state funding has already been entered in the accounts of the municipalities in the region of 320 million euros from 400 million allocated .
Gave as an example of compliance with the municipality of Lorca, in which the Government of Spain has paid 46 of the 50 projects from the State Fund of 2009 and has also admitted 85 percent of the 58 projects submitted in 2010.
