Lorca UPyD chosen in early November by primary process, which will be the chief candidate for municipal elections.
Political education also submit nominations for the Regional Assembly as well as Murcia, Cartagena, Molina de Segura, San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Los Alcazares and Caravaca.
The primary system, in general and for all the chief candidates was approved in the first Congress that the party held in November 2009, is included in its statutes that any member may be submitted to the primary without the need to seek guarantees or signatures.
UPyD, which already has representatives in the Congress of Deputies, in the Basque Parliament and the European Parliament, now serving three years since its foundation, aiming to become a real alternative for local and regional politics in our region, thus fulfilling the great expectations that give the latest polls of likely voters in the Region of Murcia.
According to its local spokesman, Juan Manuel Cabrera, the party faces forward to the upcoming elections: "We have been working three years to offer citizens the opportunity to vote for another way of doing politics and to return the interest to participate in it, through parties like ours.
UPyD is offered as a vehicle for regeneration of democratic life in the town and to propose real solutions to the challenges we face in the coming years "
