In the case of roads and Vicente Huarte Lunelle, the work has been completed, while Barn Street will be completed during this October.
Councilman Works and Municipal Services City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, reported that the city council has invested around 363,000 euros on the street improvements Redon, Vincent Lunelle and Barn, nestled in the historic center of our city .
Mecca has been detailed in the case of Lunelle Vicente Huarte and has proceeded to overhaul both the sign of the road as the sidewalks.
The work consisted in the renewal of sewerage and drinking water available, as well as the empowerment of underground pipes to proceed gradually to the incorporation of lines and low voltage as well as other services such as telephone networks , communications and the Internet.
In addition, it has proceeded to the improvement of lighting to be reckoned with these pathways.
In this way, we have replaced the earlier lamps attached to the facades of buildings by a new system of points of light in street lamps.
The floor has been completely renovated, on the same line of action being developed by the municipality in order to improve pedestrian traffic.
Thus, the street has the same level, no step between the sidewalk and driveway.
Other details of the work, it is noteworthy that the pavement has run paving material cement mortar dimensions 24x16 cm slab supported on concrete, black and red for road pavements, sidewalk separating the area of the road through metal bollards.
Councilman Works has indicated that this action, which has benefited the residents of both streets, has received an investment of 226,000 euros.
Work began on 11 February and were completed by the end of last August, and have been carried out by a company Lorca.
Angel Mecca said that in the case of Barn Street, has received an investment of 136,465 euros.
The works, which have also been executed by a company Lorca, began on 26 July and is expected to be completed later this month.
The renovation work has seen the network of existing sewer and water, and proceeded to perform the same action for the future undergrounding of power lines and communications services.
For better lighting of street lighting have been renovated with the installation of 3 new streetlights that reveal the previous system of lights in front that was insufficient.
The previous resurfacing has increased the width of sidewalks, to be executed paving stone material of dimensions 20x20 cm slab supported on reinforced concrete.
The paving of the road will be asphalt on artificial gravel esplanade.
Importantly, both actions are fully subsidized by the Ministry of Economy, Business and Innovation.
