The "II Hispanic American Conference for institutional strengthening of local governments" will take place in our city during the days of Wednesday and Thursday.
Also be developed in the municipality of Lorca, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Senate of Spain and the municipality of Villanueva del Río Segura.
The Councillor for Citizen Participation of the City of Lorca, Rosa Maria Medina, presented the "Second Conference Hispanic American institutional strengthening of local governments, which will have the Huerto Ruano and the Centro Cultural de Lorca as the venue, and will be attended by authorities and municipal officials from Ecuador, Peru and Spain as part of official aid to international development cooperation of the Government of the Region of Murcia and Lorca Consistory collaboration.
Medina explained that this edition will focus its efforts on strengthening capacities to improve the procedures of care, information and guidance to the city from the municipal administrations.
Mínguez Medina explained that they have been a total of six local governments selected to participate in the project depending on their progress towards the formalization of procedures for citizen.
This is the Canton City Huaquillas (El Oro, Ecuador), District Municipality of Aguas Verdes (Tumbes, Peru), City District Carabayllo (Lima, Peru), Provincial Municipality of Castrovirreyna (Huancavelica, Peru), Provincial Municipality Aymaraes (Apurimac, Peru) and the Provincial Municipality of Mariscal Nieto (Moquegua, Peru).
The program is part of the commitment to present the capacity building of institutions as a key factor in development, especially of those closest to the neighbors, such as local government, cantonal governments, county governments, provincial governments.
Sources within the organization have stated that these training sessions and exchange are related to the project to support the improvement of municipal procedures Ecuador and Peru to enhance its operational management, with preferential consideration to information and guidance provided to those approach the local government seeking personal attention.
A Spanish technical support team has visited its facilities, has held working sessions with their teams of officers and officials for the implementation of procedures for citizen, and are encouraged by their progress now know, visit and study these services in some municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
