Antonio Mecca CiudaLor president asks the Mayor of Lorca, following its announcement to undertake the construction of the auditorium, giving priority to other more urgent payments, such as among others:
Pay the suppliers of the City Council with which it has debts which are ruining these companies and their workers.
Meet the payment of the debts it has with the neighborhood associations, NGOs, and other nonprofit institutions, to which this situation prevents them from carrying out its social function.
Relocation of the various municipal departments (offices Limusa, Consumer informajoven, Ora, School of Music, Aguas de Lorca, etc.) Currently found on private premises with high rents, in local municipal ownership, and in this way save hundreds of thousands of euros a month totally unnecessary.
We recognize that our Mayor and his administration, although three years late and reluctantly, they are becoming sensitive to our constant complaint of waste that has accompanied its municipal and start saving measures, but require you to establish a prioritized public spending and leave the lure of monumental works for promotion of electoral staff for when economic circumstances permit.
