The Socialists will remain alert for a possible relocation of former manager and that "no one would understand the suppression of the Planning Department as an austerity measure and to reinstate the former manager at another post entirely dispensable and with the same pay outrageous."
December 14, 2010
PSOE Councilman José Mateos Diego Lorca today denounced the "mess" bureaucracy that affects the functioning of the council of Planning, after the disappearance on Jan. 1, the former Planning Department, by order of the Mayor of PP Francisco Jodar.
The socialist mayor and the councilman has denied the industry, Francisco García, who yesterday said the internal reorganization that has forced the closure of the Planning Department had led to "certain shortcomings" in the provision of services.
Mateos said the situation was "pure chaos" and has accused the PP government team for lack of foresight, because "since May have had enough time to prepare for the closure of Management and waited until the last minute."
As an example, the PSOE Councillor reported that in the early days of municipal urban planning department was "no collection box" and only charges could be made for amounts less than 25 euros, while the box was enabled payment days later.
Therefore, Mateos has proposed the creation of a distinct entity for the management of urban area that has no legal personality but still allow a certain autonomy of the Council's general apparatus.
Moreover, the PSOE has expressed his satisfaction at the end of Manuel Alfonso Guerrero, who until December 31 was manager of the Planning Department.
In the three years in this position that has had confidence PP Mayor, Francisco Jodar, Guerrero has seen a total salary of 40 million pesetas.
Diego José Mateos regretted this "waste" for municipal coffers in a position "absolutely unnecessary" and assured that the PSOE will remain alert "for a possible relocation of Guerrero.
In that regard, he assured that "no one would understand the suppression of the Planning Department as an austerity measure and is repositioning the former manager in another post entirely dispensable and with the same pay outrageous."
