Environment Councilman of the City of Lorca, Melchor Morales, encouraged all to benefit Lorca Electronics Renewal Plan launched by the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research.
Morales explained that in addition to discounts on the purchase of energy-efficient appliances and the change of cladding systems (windows and exterior doors), one of the most important advantages is that the renewal of these represents an average savings of 5 per month in electricity bills.
Today the establishments belonging to the campaign in Lorca are Tien21 Fran, (La Paca) and Hypermarkets Cecos, Dimension, Beacon Park Eroski, Sotroni, Electronics Mansan, Tien21 Lorca, Lacquered Lofran, Appliances Lucas, Hipergarmart, Electrofrio Lorca, Esteban Cánovas, Lorenz, Lorenz II, Ebony Mounts, Furniture Marketplace, Commercial Reyselor, Household Appliances and knocks Parra
The mayor of the Environment has highlighted that these savings emphasizes its importance if we consider that during the government of Zapatero electricity bill has increased by almost 50%.
That is why I encourage Lorca to benefit from this initiative will enable us to mitigate the "rush" of the energy bill.
Grants for new appliances: up to 25% of total
Appliances eligible for aid are those of categories A, A + and A + +, come to replace another of higher consumption.
In this classification fall all makes and models, so that the aid will go from 50 euros a gas stove to 125 euro for a top-class appliance (A + +).
However, despite the fact that they aid in energy saving function that provides the equipment, never exceed 25 percent of the final price.
Doors and windows: support up to 1,500 €
The mayor of the Environment has invited Lorca side to qualify for the Door and Window Renewal Plan, an initiative that aims at replacing these items.
This change will save an estimated quantity of 1,500 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per household per year (a savings of 260 euros per year in electricity bills) and a considerable reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
The total amount of specific support for the renewal of windows and doors up to 25 per cent of the investment, with around 1,500 euros if the maximum eligible for housing through this plan, including VAT.
This amount includes the cost of the windows and exterior doors as the costs of installation, with a total initial budget of 200,000 euros for the whole region.
To benefit from the aid, the applicant must attend one of the establishments participating in the Plan, to apply this discount on the final price of the product, whether it an appliance, a door or window.
Establishments and SMEs wishing to join the Renewal Plan can still register on the website of the Energy Management Agency of the Region of Murcia (www.argem.es) and aid have begun to apply.
Renewal Plan, which has become in recent editions a catalyst for regional trade, is part of the Strategy for Energy Saving and Efficiency in Spain (E4) of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDEA) Ministry of Industry, which manages the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through the Directorate General of Industry, Energy and Mines and Argema.
