The Councillor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, has reported that the local police on Saturday arrested two individuals as alleged perpetrators of a theft of copper cables.

The events occurred on Saturday at 4 pm, when the power of prevention and protection of public safety was to provide a traffic monitoring service.

That control observed two individuals who carried two bulky bags, and acting suspiciously.

The agents proceeded to stopping them, making sure that those bags contained copper cables were stolen from a ship lying on the road from Caravaca.

The presuntotes perpetrators were arrested and taken to the offices of the National Police, going to court.
