The Governing Council has approved the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, the city of Lorca and the concessionaire of the public transport of passengers on regular urban municipality for the implementation of UNIBON in that locality.
In this way, will be launched to simplify tariffs and number of tickets, in order to provide better service, more economical, convenient and simple to more than 92,000 residents of the municipality.
The measure aims to encourage the use of public transport as a means of regular and agile movement, which promotes sustainable transport and energy savings.
Simplification, which applies in all urban lines of Lorca, is part of a process initiated by the regional government to improve the quality of public transport and encourage its use in the region.
This measure benefits the municipality and Murcia and then spread to the capital's metropolitan area and Cartagena to finally reach the entire region.
The new rates under the UNIBON 'Without Limits', which allows any citizen to make unlimited travel for 30 euros a month, and the UNIBON 'No Limits' Students, who for 20 euros a month allows students of any formal education (schools, colleges, universities, language schools or vocational training) unlimited travel.
Bond will also have 10 'My Trips', which includes ten trips with free transfer for one hour on all bus routes in the municipality for ten euros, while the regular ticket is unified on one euro in urban areas and from 1.35 in the districts.
