The deadline to apply for support of FEMP Injuve and for youth programs without Lorca City Council has opted to them (19/04/2011)

The aid was intended to fund programs developed by local councils in the prevention of gender violence, prevention of unwanted pregnancies among adolescents and youth and youth empowerment, aimed at the employability of young people.

Lorca City Council opted not to them.

Socialist Councillor Isabel Casalduero has reported today that pasado15 April, was the deadline for the announcement of grants to projects that are developing this year, local corporations in the field of Youth, without the City Council had opted to Lorca the same.

Casalduero recalled that on 28 March, the Institute for Youth (Injuve) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), signed an agreement to channel subsidies for the development of actions aimed at young people, by developing programs locally.

The aid was intended to fund programs developed by local councils in the prevention of gender violence, prevention of unwanted pregnancies among adolescents and youth and youth empowerment, aimed at the employability of young people.

However, from the Department of Youth Lorca City Council has not promoted the participation in this call, and no specific programs have been developed in these areas during the four-year term of the Partido Popular.

Casalduero has ensured that these have been "four dark years" for the aspirations of the young Lorca, who have not had the support of the City Council.
