The Ministry of Development and the Government of the Region of Murcia actions financed 50%
The City of Lorca centralize the receipt of applications
Development Minister, José Blanco, President of the Region of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar in Murcia today signed a collaboration agreement for the management of the aid provided by the Government of Spain to repair the damage caused by earthquakes Lorca produced on Wednesday.
The three governments have been working and coordination from the time the earthquake occurred to alleviate the immediate consequences, concerned citizens meet and assess the damage.
The objective of the agreement signed today is to facilitate and expedite the processing of aid for housing rehabilitation contained in Royal Decree approved by the Council of Ministers.
Thus, under the agreement, the Ministry of Development and the Regional Government of Murcia funded at 50% the costs of repair, rehabilitation and reconstruction of houses damaged by earthquakes.
Processing and resolution of support is for the Ministry of Public Works and Land Planning of the Autonomous Community
For its part, the City of Lorca centralize the receipt of aid applications.
So, will undertake the following actions:
- Establish in the town of Lorca equipped offices with staff and facilities to ensure the centralization of applications, documents and communications relating to the proposed aid
- Check that the documentation accompanying the application is complete and that applicants meet the necessary requirements to obtain the status of beneficiary.
- Shall send a list of application files to assist the Joint Committee involving the three administrations.
- Forward the records of requests for assistance to the Autonomous Community of Murcia, and a list of them.
