The Delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar and the Provincial Director of the National Institute of Social Security, Francisco Sanchez, announced this morning that yesterday was effective advancement of extra pay to pensioners living in Lorca , for a total of 9,238,259 euros.
González Tovar noted that Lorca 14,359 pensioners have already received their pay extra for the period December 2010 to May 2011, one month in advance than usual, according to the provisions of Royal Decree approving urgent action to repair the damage caused by earthquakes of Lorca.
The main beneficiaries are pensioners retired (7751), followed by widows pension (3789), disability (2298), orphan (485) and for family members (36).
As schemes, almost 50% of recipients are of the General (6419), followed by Self (5,303) and the Special Agricultural Scheme (1751).
González Tovar noted that this is an extra step of many taken in the Royal Decree, with the Government of Spain is working to alleviate the difficult situation in which families are affected by earthquakes.
