Councilman-elect of the PSOE, Manuel Soler, today called on the team's Popular Party government implementation of initiatives "workable and imaginative" that enable the retention of local businesses in the municipality.

Soler explained that because of earthquakes in the past Lorca May 11, many businesses could not open their doors and their owners are seeking ways to resume their aid as they arrive.

Therefore, the PSOE political order of the Consistory to support small businesses and commercial areas of the town of Lorca that are undergoing a "decisive" and "crucial."

To Soler, the City has to articulate the necessary measures to facilitate the reopening of these stores and to prevent some of these small business end moving their businesses to other neighboring municipalities.

Manuel Soler suggested the PP government team relocation of establishments that request, and whenever possible from a technical viewpoint in places suitable for mobile business.

In that sense, the elected council requested that the relocation covering the center of the city and also other business areas that make up the business of small and medium local businesses.

To do this, since the PSOE suggest several sites as the Plaza of the Tanners in the Barrio de San Cristóbal, the Alameda Plaza of Spain or the Constitution.

Manuel Soler elaborated on the need to implement this initiative immediately, because "Lorca and its institutions can not remain closed indefinitely as this would be a serious obstacle to economic and social recovery."

Therefore, invited the Mayor to convene a meeting as a priority with the Union of Traders Lorca, and representatives of different business areas affected by earthquakes that are themselves of that value and propose the most suitable for location of these temporary shopping.
