Education in rehabilitation works of the three institutions most affected by Lorca earthquake (20/08/2011)

The Ministry of Education, Training and Employment is undertaking work in schools in Lorca this summer in the face at the beginning of next year.

The general manager of Infrastructure and Education Promotion, José María Ramírez, recently visited the town of Lorca to know the status of the proceedings.

Meanwhile, students in the fourth that, the fourth group of diversification and high school class will receive at the facilities of classrooms on campus.

Also, students of the three training courses shall go to the Integrated Training of Lorca.

As for Ros IES Giner, the CEO explained that "it was the center that was in a worse state, which has led to demolish many of its facilities."

Only twelve classrooms may be used in an annex building, which houses the high school students.

The High School will receive classes in the new facilities of IES No. 6 of Lorca.

Ramirez also used his visit to Lorca to be interested in aided schools of the town were hit by earthquakes, such as schools Mother of God and St. Francis of Assisi.

Only St. Francis High School taught classes in the afternoon, during the months of September and October.
