The regional government has held talks with the parliamentary group to bring the Plan Lorca, presented last week by the president of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, the Congress of Deputies, the Regional Assembly and the city of Lorca.

The plan, which will be presented in the chambers of parliamentary representation through a proposition of law, includes financing commitments and investment must assume the Government of Spain in solidarity and compliance with the principles of territorial cohesion, social and convergence economic emanating from the Constitution and the European Union.

This initiative, developed by the Community and the city of Lorca, estimated at 1,650 million euros of funding needs and socio-economic revitalization of the municipality after the earthquake on 11 May.
