The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, announced today that at its meeting this morning, the Council of Ministers has authorized the implementation of the Contingency Fund, amounting to 6,661,125.84 euros to finance damage the earthquake in Lorca (Murcia) on 11 May, with the following distribution:

6.22 million euros to a credit expansion in the Ministry of Interior for costs incurred by various entities, including the Spanish Red Cross and the town of Lorca, for emergency activities conducted in the municipality.

441,125.84 euros to finance an extraordinary credit in the Ministry of Development for 50% of the costs of repair, rehabilitation and reconstruction of damaged houses, according to the aid approved on 18 July by the Joint Commission and as established by Royal Decree Law 6 / 2011 of 13 May by adopting urgent measures to repair the damage caused and exceptional aid fund.
