IU-Greens criticized the "slowness" of the Mixed Commission in the resolution of files (03/10/2011)

IU-Greens has today considered "unacceptable" that the Joint Committee established by Royal Decree Law 6 / 2011 has been "unable" to resolve all of the requested rent subsidies for those affected by the earthquake on May 11.

For the regional coordinator of IU-Greens, José Antonio Pujante, the said Commission acts to "slow" in processing aid, aimed at people who for their own economic means "can not afford to rent a new home."

Pujante has indicated that individuals do not receive this help "could be led to leave the rented house," which, in his opinion, "would result in a new situation of helplessness."

With regard to housing repair grants, said that the work of the Joint Commission "is just as slow" as it has solved only 15 percent of the 12,375 applications submitted.

In this sense, has asked the makers of the governments represented on the Commission to "devote their time solving cases and disputes not engage in media that does nothing to help citizens."

It also stressed that the state and the region "should make credit reserves relevant to urgently address the resolution of all records."

Booming recalled that in the amendments to the recognition of Decree 6 / 2011 on urgent measures for the earthquake as a bill, IU-Greens requested an amendment of the percentages for each administration, so that the state assume 75 per Community percent and the 25 remaining.

"However, this amendment has not been provided to date, the problems may lie in the inability of the economic contribution for the Community, which is 50 percent," he concluded.
