The mayor announced that the municipality will receive 2.5 million euros for the recovery of sports facilities (05/10/2011)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, has announced that the municipality will receive a grant of 2.5 million euros to be allocated to improving teachers' use sports facilities.

The mayor has stated that this investment is realized in the evening yesterday during a meeting held in the city council, and attended by the deputy director general of sports infrastructure and economic administration of the Higher Sports Council Alfonso Luengo, as well as the general manager of physical activity and sport CARM, Antonio Peñalver, councilors of Education and Sports City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel and Agustin Llamas, respectively, and the government delegate in the Region of Murcia Rafael Gonzalez.

The Mayor explained that the investment of EUR 2.5 million will be borne 50% by the Government of the Autonomous National and communicate it, so he thanked his sensitivity on the matter, emphasizing "positive despite this measure that it takes more. "

Francisco Jodar is anticipated that the use to which this economic pillar will be building a new sports pavilion to be located in the precinct in which the institutes are nestled Ros Francisco Giner and José Ibáñez Martín.

With regard to the European flag, earthquakes have caused damage seriously affecting almost all building elements.
