The Governing Council has authorized the company to entrust management Tragsa public works of improvement and adaptation of the treatment plant Lorca urban waste, for which have a total budget of 3,681,600 euros for the period 2011 - 2012.
The works, whose execution time is set at twelve months, offers a wide program of activities to the overall improvement of that plant in Lorca.
In this first phase, the company will undertake the necessary actions to increase the capacity of treatment plant waste to ensure proper and adequate support facilities available to new needs.
The objective of this action is to optimize resources and energy for the recovery of usable materials during waste treatment and the adequacy of plant facilities to improve recycling.
The total amount of construction is financed by 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund and 20 percent equity.
This action responds to the need to improve waste treatment plants in the region, following the evaluation of its facilities and its adaptation to new needs.
