The Governing Council has been informed of various actions that the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment held in four schools that were affected Lorca after the earthquakes of last May.
The implementation of the rehabilitation work, as a matter of urgency, have been made in these schools in Lorca, involves an investment of 1,026,578 euros.
In schools that have developed these rehabilitation works are the Alfonso X the Wise, who has had a budget of 684,044 euros, the school Juan Gonzalez, with 119,142 euros, San Cristóbal, with 82,609 euros, and the San Juan Bosco, with 140,782 euros.
The Ministry of Education has worked hard all summer to tackle the most urgent work in schools that were affected by earthquakes in order to allow its opening in September with all the guarantees of security for the whole school community.
The regional government will continue working to recover all the educational infrastructure of the municipality.
