The Department for Women offers 13 courses for 203 students more free to be developed in the town and parishes (19/10/2011)

5 new technology training activities undertaken in the mobile classroom with women's associations, while the Centre for Local Development will host courses for beginners to the Internet, the Data Protection Act, Prevention of Occupational Hazards, job search and first aid, and others.

The Department of Women's Hall of Lorca, Lali Ibarra has reported that opens today the registration period of the new offer 203 training places in 13 free courses to be developed in the town and districts until the end of the year.

Applications may be submitted until October 28.

Ibarra explained that five of these training activities of new technologies and will be held in the mobile classroom with women's associations, while the Local Development Center will host courses for beginners to the Internet, the Data Protection Act, Prevention of Occupational Risks , finding a job in times of crisis, diet and nutrition, and other first aid in schools and techniques to improve self-esteem, self-control and communication.

A total of 800 hours of training taught in morning and evening, either.

The mayor stressed that these courses are in addition to the other three presented a few weeks ago and the seven which were suspended in May by the earthquake are being developed in the Training Centre for Women of the Street Marmolada.

"Thus in the last quarter of 2011 the Department for Women has scheduled more courses than in previous years, reaching a total of 23 training activities with which Lorca seeks to assist in their social integration," said Ibarra.

Ibarra Lali pointed out that participants in these training programs can benefit from Family Conciliation Service Training Support that is to support women who have posed difficulties to access training courses, convened by the Local Employment Center for Women in Lorca, for having child dependents.

With this support the children can stay in centers or organizations specializing in the care of children (day care centers, playgrounds, recreation centers, etc..) At the time that mothers do the courses.

The Department for Women aims to further enhance the accumulation of resources and capacity building by Lorca women so they can implement them in the workplace, either because for the first time access to paid work because they have interest improve your current job or because they intend to start a business.

The mayor pointed out that in addition to this training program Lorca's women may enroll in the different driving free training programs the Department of Employment, People's University, the Chamber of Commerce, Ceclor, unions and other entities or businesses the grant from the Regional Employment and Training.

Similarly, stressed that the City Council has an internet portal for free online training in new technology that places no limit and allows for courses at any time and from any neighborhood or parish.
