The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, has announced that this Friday will be held in Caravaca de la Cruz a charity concert with the city of Lorca.
The mayor said that "at the Teatro Thuillier from the 21 hours, will take place this cultural event to benefit the Solidarity Committee Lorca".
It will involve, according to Martinez detailed, "the musical group Band of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Municipal Band of Lorca, which has been expressly invited to participate in a joint program with the slogan" Solidarity with Lorca Chords "and intends to collaborate with the City of the Sun during these difficult times we are living."
The mayor added that "within this same cycle is performed another concert at Eagles during the month of October."
The City Council also noted that "every musical group will be responsible for performing a part of the program, which also will play a part in memory of those killed in the May 11 earthquake."
Martinez wanted to thank "the sensitivity of the problem caravaqueños Lorca suffered since 11 May."
