Councillor of Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, has announced that up to December 22 deadline is open to participate in the fourth edition of the Narrative Competition for Secondary Education "Award Angels Pascual", organized by public libraries.
Montiel stated that "may participate in the contest all pupils in schools in the municipality of Lorca and in education between 1 and 4 of the ESO".
The awards are divided, as noted by the mayor "in two categories: on one hand the Group A, for students enrolled in 1 and 2 of the ESO, and on the other Group B, for students aged 3 and 4 ° of the ESO ".
For each of the categories will be three prizes, consisting of lots of books worth 200 euros, 100 euros and 75 euros respectively, and diplomas may also be granted diplomas and lots of books valued at 50 euros a work which the jury to consider finalists, up to a maximum of 3 per group.
Similarly, shall also be lots of books to schools to which students belong first prize winners.
To participate, the mayor of Education has stated that "it is only necessary to submit stories, free theme and a minimum of two pages and maximum of three in the Pilar Barnes Library."
The work must be typed double-spaced on one side in A4 format, and submitted in a large, specifying therein the title of the story and it belongs to group (A or B).
Within this envelope will be closed with another small competitor data (name, grade, school, group and job title).
Finally, Montiel has stated that "this literary contest is a tribute to LA Pascual, professor of historical institutes and Ros Giner Ibanez Martin, director of the City Library for over 30 years, adopted daughter Lorca and loved and respected by few students had the pleasure of spending for their classrooms.
