Planning convenes a Technical Workshop to disseminate among architects, engineers and business rules for the reconstruction and repair of buildings damaged by earthquakes (07/12/2011)

in order that all professionals involved in the reconstruction and recovery of property are aware of these rules and their application in the works.

The Town Planning of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has reported that the Urban Area Municipal Consistory has organized, together with Ceclor and the Chamber of Commerce Lorca, a technical conference to be held next Monday, December 12 at 17:30 pm in the Auditorium of the Centre for Local Development.

Peñarrubia Manzanera has stated that the purpose of the seminar is to familiarize technicians, professionals and entrepreneurs building the content of the Supplementary Rules to facilitate the resettlement, reconstruction and repair of buildings affected by seismic activity and catastrophic, the City Council approved in the plenary on 28 November.

To this day attended by the Councillor for Urban Development, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, accompanied by technical and Urban Area of ​​the Technical Office of Reconstruction, to present the outlines of the Supplementary Rules and subject to questions and issues raised by architects, engineers and other professionals or entrepreneurs to attend this day.

The Town Planning stated that the invitation to the various wizards has been extended by ceclor and Chamber of Commerce, who organized this conference in collaboration with the city of Lorca.

It is expected, in this sense, a large representation of these professionals given the importance and timeliness of the Supplementary Rules of the General Plan to allow a reconstruction Lorca's most agile of architectural damage caused by past earthquakes.

The City Council received 56 requests for licensing of facilities damaged by the earthquake to re-open its doors

Manzanera Peñarrubia reported further applications for earthquake-related activity that have been requested from May 11 until 1 December.

This is a total of 56 projects distributed among 33 shops, 10 catering establishments, 12 offices and a gym.

It should be noted that the City has issued a total of 109 licenses of activity in this period, contemplating in this regard industrial, commercial and hospitality among others.
