The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, received this morning the Mayor of Vera, Jose Carmelo Jorge, who has moved to our city by the President of AFIVE (Vera Fibromyalgia Association) Antonia Cano, and 9 other members of this organization, who have made a solidarity aid delivery.

Jodar explained that this is a collaboration from the collection held by the Association in a ceremony to that effect.

Specifically, the friends of this organization, to help Lorca, set up during the day on May 12, International Day of Fibromyalgia, a panel request in the Plaza Mayor de Vera, to raise a substantial economic aid for the city of Lorca.

Francisco Jodar has indicated that the result of this gathering today we delivered 2,500 euros for the Bureau for Development, which will be very important to continue helping the victims of the May 11 earthquake.

It should be recalled that the Bureau for Development has helped more than 3,300 people affected by earthquakes and that any funds it receives is critical to continue aiding those who are faring worse since the nature Gebara with us for that May afternoon.

AFIVE, Fibromyalgia Association Vera, demonstrates its human character and tremendous solidarity to have sought aid among neighbors and make veratenses today to get those to the most pressing causes that arise from earthquakes.

Lorca The mayor said that "as mayor of Lorca, I want to publicly thank the town of Vera, its Mayor, the AFIVE friends visit us today and all its neighbors are showing commitment to Lorca since the tragedy of May 11 Gebara is with our city. In Vera found unfailing support and a generous ongoing collaboration and has strengthened the ties between these two sister cities. From the first moment, from the most distressing hours of May shown that the veratenses are not going to be left alone in the difficulty.'ve ever put your hand all you need to work with the town of Lorca, and even wanted me to herald their parties during last September so he could have first hand what happened in Lorca as a result of earthquakes.
