IU-green question that the disappearance of local bodies has incurred economic improvements to City Hall (27/01/2012)

José García Murcia, councilman spokesman Lorca IU-Green said that the removal of bodies made by the municipal people's government team has not resulted in economic improvements for the municipal coffers, but instead, if it has been a decline citizen participation, a major breach of the People's Party election promise.

An example of this issue has been the elimination of the municipal land and housing, SUVILOR, which will end soon dissolve.

This company would have been an important tool that did not require municipal eliminate it, but to improve its management and that currently, where the housing problem is one of the main Lorca would have had a major utility.

In relation to the municipal accounts, García Murcia has said the team needs to be rigorous government expenditure and at the same time have the ability to devise new ways to generate municipal revenues.

Similarly, the council has stated that the 330 million that the city of Lorca has received from the Insurance Compensation Consortium will favor the economic activation of Lorca, as well as the generation of jobs, an issue on which should influence local politics.

In this regard it is noted that the City Council of Lorca has received 12.5 million euros to put their own premises, thereby contributing to the same end.

In this sense, IU-Greens claim that local government must be active in this respect, since it is obvious stagnation in the recovery of the city and the increase in the unemployment rate regionally and locally.
