The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar Alonso, received this morning representatives of the firm ERP Spain, who have been handed a check for 8,500 euros to the Bureau for Development.

Both entities have worked closely together to conduct a public awareness project that has enabled Lorca Lorca and know the necessity and importance of separating waste for recycling electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries, and also thanks to the selfless work of citizens and business partners, deliver the money budgeted for such action to the Bureau for Development.
Days recycling outreach
Last December, a conference organized information about recycling of both waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries.
The aim was to inform and raise awareness of the need for proper recycling of WEEE and batteries obsolete.
The sessions were provided brochures on how and what to recycle, as well as the addresses of the collection points in the municipality and the mobile eco-park path, which runs through the town infrastructure summoning these small domestic waste volume.
Finally, citizens could take to deposit their used batteries in containers that are authorized for this purpose, the contribution consummated in a single day of 18 kilos of this residue, similar to what is collected in a department store multiprecio, or in a retail appliance, or a college of Lorca, in any one semester.
The City Council has chosen ERP Lorca Spain to collaborate in this charity event informative because Spain is authorized ERP as Integrated Management System (GIS) for WEEE and batteries in the Autonomous Community of Murcia and has an agreement of collaboration with local government, personalized in the municipal Limusa.
