They criticize the lack of bargaining power of the mayor to resolve the conflict created by the musicians (23/02/2012)

Before the conflict the government itself has created team with members of the School and the Municipal Band, the councilors of the two opposition political groups have filed a joint motion requesting the annulment of the measures imposed in by the Councillor for Culture of reducing by 34% the budget allocated to these cultural institutions.

Councillors have highlighted the imposition that the government team has performed with musicians and teachers, who despite his willingness to negotiation and dialogue, have not had that option.

Casalduero Sosa and stressed the lack of bargaining power by the government team, who has taken decisions unilaterally and tax, regardless of what grade will affect these decisions imposed on the groups mentioned.

Similarly, since both bands have stressed that teachers and musicians have not been paid since the end of the year, which shows an irresponsible attitude by the mayor and his councilor for culture, Sandra Martinez, putting at serious risk the future of these traditional cultural entities.

Thus, from PSOE and IU-Greens have reported the concentration to be held this afternoon in support of the members of the School and the Municipal Band, departing from the bullring at 17:30 hours to Plaza of Spain, hoping that the just demands of musicians and teachers completed soon and well.

Sosa and Casalduero have also made a second motion that will lead to full joint following Monday formations they represent in relation to the dismissal of workers from the council of women in recent months.

Specifically, council members have made specific reference to the case of illegal dismissal has been in charge of the Equality Plan since its inception and was providing professional services to this council for almost 20 years, to be replaced by a known militant People's Party.

In the motion filed by these two political groups seek the reinstatement of the worker who has been unfairly dismissed by the personal whim of the councilor in charge of the area.

Casalduero and Sosa do not understand how this situation has occurred when Mrs. Ibarra itself has recognized that the Equality Plan continues to develop in the council, which is in contradiction with the argument offered by her that the reason for the dismissal was the completion of the program that this worker was carrying out.

Thus, the PSOE and IU councilors-Greens have asked the councilor political responsibilities of women, reminding him that this case be resolved in the labor court.
