The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, with the director of the International Congress on Lorca novelist Jose Maria Castillo Navarro, José Luis Molina, has been reported that the Municipal and University of Murcia have edited the papers presented to the said Congress.
This is a book containing the proceedings of Congress, about the life and work of writer Lorca Jose Maria Castillo-Navarro, was held at the mansion in the Garden Ruano between 12 and 14 November 2008, and commemorating the 80th birthday of the author.
The meeting was the generic title of "Jose Maria Castillo Navarro. Life and Work. The short story of his time. 1950-1975" and was organized by the city of Lorca and the University of Murcia.
The volume, 700 pages, published by the Publications Service of the University of Murcia and the city of Lorca, played all the interventions of the said Congress, in which scholars from all over Spain, focused on the figure of the writer Lorca, a Thorough and detailed, providing research and analysis of the life and work of Castillo-Navarro, undoubtedly one of the most important novelists in the history of Spanish literature in the past century.

Jose Maria Castillo-Navarro, Lorca was born in 1928, and currently lives in the deputation lorquina Campillo.

Castle Lorca Navarro stressed also by its contribution to Easter, in particular the Brotherhood of Farmers, Paso Blue, of which he was president during the years 1969-1978, after being named Honorary President.
