The Council of Ministers approved a Royal Decree that regulates the regime of the Commissioner for the reconstruction and economic recovery in the area of ​​Lorca.

This decision reinforces the Government of Commissioner hitherto existing before the need to push strongly all the actions to be executed to ensure the early restoration of normalcy in Lorca.

By taking action will expedite the payment of aid and contribute to the revival of economic activity in Lorca and its area of ​​influence and invigorate the city's recovery.

The Commissioner shall have the rank of Secretary of State and will be based in Murcia.

Coordinate the actions taken by the Central Government on the occasion of the earthquake in Lorca, and develop partnerships with the Region of Murcia and the city of Lorca.

Appointment of Inmaculada García
