The Governing Board approved a new series of 30 aid to families affected by earthquakes in the amount of 35,893 euros (29/06/2012)

The Bureau for Development started on Monday a new project called "comprehensive social care for the normalization of the families affected by earthquakes," focused on serving a particular way for families and includes new types of financial aid

The Councillor for Social Services City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, informed that the aid of the Bureau for Development adopted by the Governing Board at its last meeting involving the sum of € 35,893.

In that regard has been given the nod to a total of 12 applications in nature refundable for families affected by earthquakes can pay their rent, looking at the amount of 15,973 euros.

Similarly other 6 have been approved in exceptional economic assistance for the payment of rent by the amount of 10,320 euros.

Jódar Ruiz has indicated that 12 grants were awarded to households displaced from their residence because of the earthquakes that represent the total amount of 9,600 euros.

This financial assistance, along with the other help lines established by the Solidarity Committee can be requested in the citizen service established on the premises of the Single Desk for Reconstruction.

The Councillor of Social Services has indicated that as of next Monday starts the Bureau for Development plan "comprehensive social care for the normalization of the families affected by earthquakes," which will focus on addressing individual cases of families and will include various types of aid and economic assistance. Emergency aid for fertilizers needed to maintain the residence, rented or rehabilitate housing, managed urgently, single payment and with a maximum value of 300 euros.

Regular aid to address situations of deprivation of basic needs that are not covered by other governments or entities.

Grants for the adequacy of personal, family and housing.

Aid for affected families whose financial resources are not sufficient to meet the needs of children, and this poses a risk to them (school materials and health care, clothing ...)

Financial Assistance to improve family life in the new family structures created (family members who have benefited from other people at home).

Assistance approved by the Bureau for Development to detail.

- 500,000 €

- Financial assistance for preparation of the new headquarters of the food market:

- 70,000 €

- Financial assistance for the rehabilitation of housing in Uptown (San Pedro Street, ironmongers, and Poplar Corner Male):

- € 8,100.

- Other significant expenses of the Solidarity Committee were as follows:

Assistance Initiative "bungling Without Borders": € 1,879.34.

Installation and maintenance of modular homes San Fernando: € 44,637.31

Extraordinary expenses Camp La Torrecilla: € 9,585.64

Contributions to collective finalists:

Royal House Donation to San Francisco and Santo Domingo: € 119,475.72

Housewives Association Donation to St. Joseph Calasanz: 7,000 €

Donation to San Jose Kutxa Calasanz: 5,000 €

Other arrangements of the Local Government

Maria del Carmen Ruiz reported also that the Local Government Committee held this morning approved the motions relating to the adoption of the following agreements:
