The Local Government has approved € 150,238 of this plan are managed by the Associations Good Way, NYPACOLD and the Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia for the development of their projects in Lorca.

The Councillor for Social Services City of Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, informed that the Consistory Lorca and Murcia Health Service have signed an agreement which will invest € 235,000 in Drug Prevention Plan of the Municipality.

In this line the Local Government Committee today approved € 150,238 of this plan are allocated to projects submitted by the Associations Good Way, NYPACOLD and the Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia, while the rest is managed directly by the council for action information, guidance, support and prevention of drug addiction.

Specifically, the Association of Children and Parents Lorca on Drugs (NYPACOLD) receive a grant of 22,948 euros for the project entitled "Prevention, Care and Rehabilitation of Drug Dependence 2012," to provide a social service specialist intends to follow and improve the quality of the actions of prevention, care and rehabilitation on the addictions that this partnership has been developing for 12 years Lorca, in collaboration with the city of Lorca, through the Department of Social Services.

For its part the Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia (ISOL) will receive a grant amount of 78,000 municipal € for the project entitled "Rehabilitation Program and Job Placement for People with Mental Illness," in order to provide a social service specialist aimed at promoting employment and social integration of people with serious substance abuse problems associated with chronic mental illness.

Finally, Good Road Association, will receive EUR 49,290.45 for the project entitled "Social and Labour Integration for drug addicts: Occupational Workshops for labor integration of Drug Dependence", with which it will provide a specialized social service and welfare nature of detoxification, rehabilitation, reintegration and promotion, which aims to promote integration and social integration of individuals with drug problems, abuse and / or general issues involving risk of social exclusion.
