'Lorca Plaza' will host concerts in the next eight weekends from September to revitalize the historic center of the City of the Sun (14/09/2012)

Lorca City Council is working with the business group 'Lorca Plaza' in these free concerts, coming forward with festive activity in the city center.

The first concert will be on Saturday and all will be at 19:00.

The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, and the representative of the business group 'Lorca Plaza', Matt Lucas, presented the 8 free concerts that both entities have scheduled for next September weekends.

Martinez explained that "Lorca Fair is underway in the historical district through this program that will begin this weekend with performances by Stone Control a Rolling Stones Tribute You2band Saturday and a Sunday U2 Tribute 16 ".

The councilor explained that the concerts will continue on Friday 21 with The Wall, which will remind the most prominent Spanish pop of the 80s on Saturday 22 with the group Al Relente flamenco pop, and Sunday 23 with a tribute to Chess Queen.
