The Consistory clarifies that promoters are solely responsible for any damage occurred in this part of the cloister, since there have not complied with the obligation to deliver suitably rehabilitated
The Town Planning of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has reported that in relation to the controversy caused by the partial collapse of a building adjacent to the Church of Carmen after the last episode of heavy rain, by this municipal area the passivity displayed by the promoters of such works, has been ordered to municipal services to explore possible solutions to this problem, even running the guarantees that are presented to complete part of the development works.
And all this despite the difficulties of the long time since the agreement was signed in 2004 and the housing cooperative nature with the promoters of the same.
On this matter should mean:
1. - The restoration and conservation of this area was the subject of a planning agreement approved by the City Council of Lorca on June 4, 2004.
2. - The promoters of the agreement, regardless of the construction of 34 new housing, among other obligations, the City contracted to complete urbanization of the surrounding square and the transfer of this piece of cloister completely renovated.
3. - Finished houses, developers requested receipt of the development works and issuance of certificates of occupancy of the promotion of 34 homes.
4. - In any municipal technical reports have been issued against the receipt of the development works to find that those works were incomplete, inadequate and not adjusted to the approved project, the City Council today has extended or certificates of occupancy and proceeded to get the development works.
5. - In addition, developers are solely responsible for any damage occurred in this part of the cloister, since there have not complied with the obligation to deliver suitably rehabilitated.
