The Bureau for Development has so far distributed 3,338,572.89 euros between Lorca families affected by the earthquakes last year (19/10/2012)

The Councillor of Social Services City of Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, has reported that the Local Government Board today approved a new set of aid to 42 families who meet the requirements set by the various lines of support to those affected by the earthquakes agreed by the Bureau for Development.

Jódar Ruiz explained that the new aid totaling € 54,713.40.

The Councillor of Social Services is anticipated that 15 grants have been awarded by the aggregate amount of € 12,201.40 for many families benefiting from the Comprehensive social service project for the standardization of the families affected by the earthquakes.

Jódar Ruiz explained that the objective of this plan is to "study and comprehensively address specific and particular needs of each family affected directly or indirectly by the earthquake last year, to promote their integration and standardization.

The mayor of Social Services has noted in this regard that "this is a project born from the experience of the daily work of the technicians of the Department of Social Services, who have identified the need for the implementation of the new aid.

Jódar Ruiz explained that with aid for that program have been awarded 17 assists as advances economic rent to as many families Lorca involving the amount of € 29,472 as well as 2 other aid related to the review of economic assistance For rentals in the amount of 1,200, and another 6 for the total amount of € 8,840 in aid exceptional.

- Hospitality to families of seriously injured and died from earthquakes:

€ 64,140.62

- Support of Comprehensive Social Care Plan for normalization of the families affected by the earthquake:

71 applications approved.

Total amount: € 65,615.40.

- Aid to families displaced because of the earthquake:

Applications approved: 600

Total amount: 480,000 €

- Aid to hire exceptional families affected by the earthquakes that do not meet the requirements of the Royal Decrees:

Applications approved: 57.

Total amount: € 87,826

- Financial assistance to boost trade (for the Bureau of Commerce): 500,000 €

- Financial assistance for preparation of the new headquarters of the Market Square: 70.000 €

- Financial assistance for housing rehabilitation in Uptown (San Pedro streets, ironmongers, Macho and Poplar Corner): € 8,100.

- Other significant expenses of the Bureau for Development are as follows:

- Assistance initiative "bungling Without Borders": € 1,879.34.

- Installation and maintenance modular homes San Fernando: € 44,637.31
