The Governing Council authorized the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) to contract the repair and structural strengthening of comprehensive day center seniors Lorca, which was severely affected by the earthquake, for an amount of 347,701 euros.
The project includes the repair of the structure and facades as well as from different parts of the interior of the property, such as partitions, ceilings, plastering, tiling, carpentry and various facilities.
Similarly, the works include the launch of the elevator, air conditioning and electricity and water services.
The center catered to 20 users, who are currently in residence 'Domingo Tailor', where a space was as day center.
In addition, the property will be located again host the biggest social center of Lorca.
The works will be implemented in six months and is scheduled to start in December this year.
