The Public Safety Councillor City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, has reported that the City Council has improved the access road signs to Almendricos cemeteries, Morata and Ramonete while painted crosswalks and road markings from the vicinity of San Clemente Cemetery, Granada Road, N-340.
Perez also explained that the Local Police have deployed a special device for the Feast of All Saints to facilitate the arrival in the cemeteries, as well as on-site parking and traffic flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
To this end, the City Council has signaled in the vicinity of the cemetery of San Clemente 4000 parking spaces, which is accessed by the side of the enclosure, so that it is prohibited to park vehicles on the access road to the Graveyard by Lorca, Granada , N-340a., as it will be used as a pedestrian route.
In addition, the mayor of Health, Antonia Lopez, recalled that vending ordinance prohibits the marketing of flowers in non-permanent seats in the entire municipality, being able to authorize only the 1st of November at the esplanade near the Cemetery San Clemente whenever requested in writing and pay the required fees.
Otherwise, the local police officers come to the dismantling of the post, seize the goods and apply appropriate sanctions.
In this sense, the mayor recalled that last year 36,435 cemeteries Lorca attended the village during the bridge November, focusing most on 1 November with 17,820 people in San Clemente and 2,030 in San Cristobal.
