The Socialist Party calls counselor explanations Sevilla in the Assembly on why he's breaking the law to rebuild Lorca (25/11/2012)

The regional deputy, Manuel Soler will present an initiative in the Assembly to demand an explanation to Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla why is breaking the Law 2/2012 of 22 May 2012, for the reconstruction of Lorca, approved unanimously by the Regional Assembly.

Soler recalled that the additional provision of the Act provides that the regional government must account for every three months of the reconstruction process step by step of that municipality, which has not been met since the entry into force of the Law

"It's been six months and the counselor should have reported twice and have not done any. Denounce the lack of transparency with which the regional government is acting and the lack of political will that exists to recover Lorca".

Manuel Soler To test this lack of political will is the fact that the Government of Valcárcel "is not as assertive with Rajoy as it was with Zapatero when asking for funds."

In fact, in the State Budget there is no basis for the Plan Lorca, while in regional budgets is not contemplated anything except loans coming from the central government through the ICO and the European Investment Bank.

"When ruling PSOE, the subject of Lorca was a matter of state, including the Government of Valcárcel equated with other disasters such as the Prestige, now, who rules the PP have forgotten and silent," complained.
