The direction of Parque Almenara and Limusa have undertaken a collaborative way to provide users the mall the recycling of waste generated in the home.
To do this, the municipal infrastructure has contributed to deposit waste and private entity location and potential users.
The recycling center has a container for each of the currently selected fractions collected in the municipality in public or centers: cardboard, lightweight containers (metal and plastic containers), glass, used cooking oil, batteries, tubes fluorescent and textiles (including shoes and toys).

Beacon Park has chosen Limusa as integral manager of waste in order to follow the line of environmental sensitivity characteristic promoter commercial park.
Opened in November 2008, the theme park has 148,180 m² of floor space, two stories high, 160 stores and 3,000 parking spaces, of which 1,100 are on the surface and the rest in two underground floors, prepared for 200,000 consumers potential of the region to which it serves.

Lorca currently has the following capacity of containerization in selective:
1531 m3 containers, with 641 containers
paper 1773 m3, with 490 containers
1524 m3 glass, with 507 containers
Glass: As of today we are in a similar range to 2011, with almost 700 tons collected, putting us on par with 2008 forecasts.
Only in 2009 was better.
The good results of September and October, which have improved the amounts collected in the same months of last year by more than 10%, have offset a shaky start to the year.
Cardboard: With paper and cardboard the same situation exists for the same.

At the end of this month, Lorca have placed in the yellow container 2% more than in the same packaging that first ten months of 2011.
Melchor Morales: With all this, and to a fall in consumption and thus the generation of packaging, either cardboard, plastic or glass, added all at a clear decrease in the population census, we can ensure that citizens recycle more than before.
