The book on bullfighting by Lorca festival will raise funds for earthquake victims (21/12/2012)

The book on bullfighting festival held in Murcia bullring on July 3, 2011 after the earthquakes in Lorca, which was presented last night at the Cultural Center of the city devoted his collection to alleviate the needs of the homeless .

María Ángeles Esteban, rector of Coordination and Communication of the University of Murcia, an institution that has published the book, recalled the various university services activities that have taken place in Lorca from the days immediately following the earthquake, with the participation of teachers, students and administrative and service staff.

The event was closed by the mayor, Francisco Jodar, calling the festival "done absolutely unrepeatable, with a sign of luxury and beautiful demonstration of a feeling, that of solidarity".

Jódar recalled that the festival got a collection of 240,000 euros, which was donated to the Bureau for Development.
