This tournament is organized by the Chess Club Lorca in collaboration with the Sports Department of the City of Lorca, the Campus Consortium and the Chess Federation of the Region.
Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, President of the Chess Club Lorca, Pedro Perez, coordinator of Campus Universitario de Lorca, Angel Garcia, and Commissioner Campus, Juan Ramón Medina, presented this morning Sub Prime Chess Tournament 2200 "Campus Universitario de Lorca", to be held from 28 to 30 December in the auditorium of the former barracks Mallorca XIII.
Llamas explained that this competition will have 30 prizes, including trophies and awards 2,000 euros in us through the sponsorship of companies like Eoroski and Parque Almenara, Editec, Renault Automotive Northwest, Tretelco, Josar Perán, CADE, Sodelor, Aguas de Lorca, Tires Nissan Guadalentín and Justo Martinez.
In this tournament only federated players can participate with lower FIDE Elo 2200, there is a limit of 120 participants in order of registration.
The participation fee is 25 euros overall and 20's staying at the Hotel Felix, the under 14 and Chess Club players Lorca.
The mayor also reported that the gameplay will be seven rounds Swiss with Swiss Manager software and the pace of play 60 minutes + 30 seconds per move.
Meanwhile Perez has indicated that it has reached an agreement on budget accommodation and food to the Hotel Felix.
