224 students from four schools in the districts of Lorca this course benefit Municipal Paidos program, school support and integration (10/01/2013)

The Councillor for Employment and Local Development City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, reported this morning that "224 students from schools in the districts of this course benefit Lorca 2012/2013 Municipal Paidos program, school support, which develops within the Urban Community Initiative financed by the Consistory Lorca and the European Union via the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund). "

Ibarra said "this course at the request of the centers has increased staff dedicated to this project, in order to give more attention to each child participant, from two to three teachers who are dedicated to help school. Specifically, in these seven months that the project is a school teacher devoted solely to Juan Gonzalez and another to Andrés García Soler, while the third divides his time between San Cristóbal and colleges Children's Home, where for first time the program takes place in the morning to cover more participants ".

The three support teachers do their work in coordination with the management team and teachers-tutors students to overcome educational difficulties that may arise, based on their level of development.

PAIDOS Project, which has a budget of 60,000 euros, is framed for four courses within the area designated for the promotion of social integration and equal opportunities of the Urban Initiative for Barrios Altos de Lorca, which gives special attention to the improvement of education and training plans customized within the shaft 5, Sustainable Urban Development and Local Operational Programme of the Region of Murcia 2007-2013.

"This project is proposed as complementary actions compensatory education in schools located in the area of ​​intervention of the Urban Initiative for Barrios Altos de Lorca and is intended for students of colleges Juan Gonzalez, San Cristobal, Casa del Niño and Andrés García Soler "said Ibarra.
