The three units union representing the staff of the local police in Lorca, UGT, CCOO and CSIF, this morning led to the commission of the City of Lorca awards its proposal to grant the Police Merit Cross City Mayor , Francisco Alonso Jódar.
Union representatives have been considered as grounds for granting this distinction work and effort made by Francisco Jódar as head of the local police in Lorca, for its coordination and leadership in the daily work of the staff, but especially in times of maximum emergency, as were the earthquakes of 11 May 2011 and the floods of September 2012.
We believe that while the Consistory last year acknowledged the work of all local police officers after the earthquake, it is only fair that this template to propose municipal department head of the public service of our institution.
The mayor acted calmly and determination that enabled a rapid and effective response to the most urgent needs of Lorca.
