The Director of Roads, José Guijarro, said today that "the repair of the roads affected by the earthquakes of the past 2011 in Lorca is taking a new boost with the award of the work of three roads belonging to the regional network."
José Guijarro explained that the contracted works are those of RM Highway 701, which runs between Lorca and the parish D7 MRI, ranging from the same locality to Los Alporchones, and RM D9, which begins and ends in Campo Lopez in the former national RM 332.
The works in the said tract shall be the repair of pavements in a total of 17 kilometers.
That is, the torches will be purified, the procedure for the renewal of the road surface and ditches will be covered.
José Guijarro said that the amount of these contracts, it invested more in roads and D10 RM and RM 701, whose slopes were repaired with mesh protection, amounts to 1,616,520 euros.
These works belong to the first phase of the plan of the Ministry of Public Works and Planning for repairing roads Lorca environment.
The Director of Roads recalled that his department plans to conduct a total of 18 performances for an amount in excess of 46 million euros, of which in 2013 will be spent over six million.
