The Public Safety Councillor City of Lorca, María Belén Pérez, has reported that local police officers in our city stopped in the early hours of March 23 after surprise an individual stealing from a tobacconist.
The facts are forwarded to a call received about 04:40 hours on the phone 112, in which it was reported that Narciso Yepes street robbery was being committed in an establishment for the sale of snuff.
Moved quickly to place a patrol Preventive Unit Protection and Safety, verifying how his arrival drew an individual showcase several boxes of that establishment and realizing fled police presence, and after a brief chase by several streets nearby proved how this person came to lie on the ground and hide in the basement of a parked SUV, so we proceeded to arrest.
Once arrested, he was informed of his rights, according to the legislation, being transferred to the Commissariat of National Police, to vetting of the relevant proceedings and brought to justice.
