37 youths from Italy, Slovenia, Turkey, Poland and Spain these days participate in an exchange program in our city (27/03/2013)

This is the initiative "Crazy Holidays" that arises from the meeting that took place last summer in Hungary.

Experience comes after the interest generated by the other participants in the production of a promotional video about the Easter lorquina in this event.

Councilman Youth council of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, received this morning the young participants in an exchange program at European level called "Crazy Holidays".

This is an event organized by the city of Lorca and held in our city from 20 to 28 March.

This is the continuation of another exchange conducted in Hungary in the summer of 2012, and was organized by the Hungarian organization Rainbow Tribe in cooperation with the Municipal lorquino and also funded by the Youth in Action Programme.

This initiative involves a total of 37 young people from Italy, Slovenia, Turkey, Poland and Spain, aged between 16 and 21 years.

The mayor of Youth stated that "this exchange is created, therefore, for Lorca youth who participated in the Hungarian, trying to put into practice what they have learned about the different possibilities of youth mobility, and as a development both personally participants, and to contribute to promoting the quality of support systems regarding youth mobility in different organizations. "

Flames Augustine explained that the idea of ​​using Easter Lorca as a link between all parties was due to be working and living for a week different cultures and religions in which young people realized how important it is mutual respect and tolerance towards them.

The idea also comes after the interest, curiosity and provision raised in the rest of participants presenting a promotional video about the Easter lorquina.

The aim of the project is mainly to show the religious experience of the city of Lorca experiential way through our cultural festivals and parades Bible - passion.

This objective is further complemented by the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities or from geographically isolated areas, encouraging participation and promoting their integration and the development of cultural activities, personal and social development and the fight against exclusion.

Another goal we want to achieve with our exchange is to promote tolerance among young people of different cultures and beliefs and to promote interfaith dialogue, because during the same activities to be planned to inform the young participants various rites and religious manifestations of different countries at the same.
