Lorca City Council authorized construction projects for the reconstruction of 37 dwellings being Santa Clara Avenue and Friars Alley (14/10/2013)

These buildings were demolished by the damage caused by earthquakes and were located in the numbers 20 and 22 of this avenue and 20, 22 and 24 of the Friars Alley.

They join the 32 that already are being rebuilt in the area, so it only remains in the authorization of 4 houses that were inhabited.

The Town Planning Council of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia has authorized construction projects for the reconstruction of 37 dwellings on the block between Santa Clara Avenue and the Alley of Los Frailes, which were demolished by the damage caused by earthquakes and will join the 32 already in the building reconstruction whose low gym was located a few meters from the new.

These buildings were Guadalentin building, located in the numbers 20 and 22 of this avenue, on whose lot will rise 16 houses, and the building 'Del Vas' Friars Alley of 20, 22 and 24, on whose land will rebuild 21 households.

Both communities include in their project owners improvements over its previous situation to earthquakes such as storage, energy efficiency, removal of architectural barriers, elevator, storage and parking.

The reconstruction of these homes will be possible thanks to support paid by 50% by the Regional Government and 50% Government of Spain, as well as the compensation of the Insurance Compensation Consortium neighbors.
