The Joint Commission, established by Royal Decree-Law 6/2011 on measures to repair the damage caused by earthquakes Lorca May 2011, resolved at its meeting today 508 applications for housing assistance, the which 399 were approved and grants totaling 4,386,000 euros worth.

This time it has approved a second batch of aid to the replacement of household consisting of 99 cases (173 925 euros), which added to those approved at the previous meeting of the Joint Commission for this item for a total of 142 (246 478 euros).

These figures were provided during the twenty-ninth meeting of that Committee held today at the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, which is tasked with assessing and quantifying individual aid granted under the lease applications, reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair of houses which constitute the habitual residence, as well as for the replacement of essential household items.

Records examined by meetings housing resolvent of the Joint Commission added 15,358, which represents 95.4 percent of the total approved budget amount of which to date amounts to 66,358,300 euros.

Of the total aid granted to housing, more than 32.1 million were for repairs 19,464,084 euros for reconstruction; 9,026,585 euros for rent, for common elements were allocated a total of 5,514,102 euros and 246 478 euros for the replacement of household.

Moreover, the total trade aid totaling 228, with a value of 1,118,045 euros.
