The Council reiterates for the umpteenth time, that will be the majority of the residents of San Fernando which will decide how their neighborhood (12/11/2013)

Given the "very unfortunate" about statements made by the PSOE councilor, D.

Manuel Soler, Management Councilwoman Recovery after Earthquakes, Satur Martinez clarified, again, the following:

The City of Lorca, as has been repeated ad nauseam, decided at the time that the neighborhood of San Fernando were given the same treatment as the other buildings in reconstruction after the earthquakes: they are the owners who agree how will rebuild.

Public authorities, in this case the City Council can not make such major decisions on private land, this is a basic principle of private property, that Mr. Soler should know.

They are the owners who have the right to decide what to do with what is theirs.

The City, in this case, has a legal obligation to stay out of private projects, and its position of supporting what most homeowners determine (provided that it respects the legal framework).

This Council has a vested interest in the San Fernando buildings raise again soon.

This has offered from day advice to the neighbors who have called, fought and got the demolition of the buildings that were left standing were not paid for by the owners, prompted the writing of a Special Interior Reform Plan ( PERI) that is about to be concluded by the CARM, and planned investment of 2.4 million euros for the renovation of the district.

Note that this latest investment will, in addition to an aesthetic improvement and procurement and supply networks, a significant savings for residents at the time of rebuilding, and not have to pay for new water and electricity connections.

The 80,000 Euro allocated budgets for 2014 CARM in this sense correspond to the opening of the game, remaining committed to investing the aforementioned 2.4 million in San Fernando.

Mr. Soler, at this point, and after several years as regional deputy, should know how the budgets of the CARM, but we still ignore it.

From the city council clarifies these issues for the umpteenth time, in a simple and concise, confident that Mr. Soler, finally understand them.

What would be "immoral" is that Mr. Soler yes know everything expressed in this note, but prefer to distort and manipulate to fool the neighbors, generate controversy and try to overshadow the investments to be done to fully renovate all neighborhoods in the city, involving the injection of 55 million euros by the CARM.

Obviously we hope not the intention.
